Knowledge Level: Intermediate

Problem: Software
Computer Type: Apple
Model: Performa 6300cd
RAM: 64meg
RAM Enhancer: None
OS Version: MacOS 8.1

Description:
Ran Disk First Aid
Problem: Invalid sibling link, 3,37

Test done. Problems were found, but Disk First Aid cannot repair them.

What does the problem mean?
I ran techtool analyzer and it showed no problems.
Is this going to cause any problems that I should be aware of?
Can it be fixed? Does it need to be fixed?

Thank you for any help that you can provide

hi paul,
Sorry to tell you that if disk first aid says Cannot repair them. You MUST erase your disk and reload everyting from backup. to prevent this from happening again run disk first aid about every 2 weeks along with rebuilding the desktop. Jerry
