Description:
I'm having trouble using Eudora Light e-mail. The e-mail I send will get through to the recipient alright, but many times I get an error while I'm sending the mail. The message says exactly this:
"Error Involving Domain Name System -3208 {tcp:1109}"
And the mail doesn't go through. But, when I quit mail, Eudora says I have unsent messages ans asks if I'd like to send them and then quit which I do and the mail goes through.
I have checked and rechecked my settings according to Earth Link's instructions, and I use Netscape Navigator just fine.
Is there some other setting somewhere that maybe I'm missing?
Send Attachments?
The problem is at the Server's end. This happens with my ISP also.
Eudora asks if you'd like to send qued messages by default. It is not a software problem. Just click "quit anyway".
Your settings are probably fine.
When the "Error Involving Domain Name System" error occurs, just wait awhile and
try again (it sometimes helps to break the internet connection and reconnect first). Sometimes, I find that checking for new mail first, and then sending your outgoing messages helps (could be coincidence).
