Description:
My Energy saver (which has always worked) will not put my monitor to sleep seperately. scheduled startup and shutdown seem to work ok, but since I don't use a screen saver, I kind of rely on the energy saver. What would cause the monitor not to sleep? Maybe something is causing activity that would make the system think it is being used? HELP!

First of all trash the Energy Saver preferences file and see if this makes any difference.
