Hi, I'm Greg, your Volunteer Tech.
The printer driver situation is much different on OS X than on Windows. Microsoft has control on Windows and warns you if you try to install a driver that doesn't follow the interface guidelines. The printer manufacturers aren't writing drivers that use the OS X CUPS interface. So, you can only use the comm protocol that is written into the driver - USB. Apple tried to get around this by including the Gimp-Print drivers.

You must use Gimp-Print for network printing to Epsons. The next issue is that you must enter both the Print Server IP address and the device-specific queue name. You can often find the queue name/port name in the printer server's manual area for unix setup.

Good luck.

Thanks Greg
IP Printing with the queue name works fine.
