Dear Mike,

The first thing that comes to mind is... Why did you upgrade to OS8.5.1 with only 32 MB of RAM?

Not that I am trying to pick on you, but honestly the OS takes up an incredible amount of memory, which is known to creep up to almost 30 MB. and wouldn't leave you much room for applications.

Putting that aside, The best thing to do is to reinstall the system folder, with a CLEAN installation. After that, and once you can get the computer stabilized, go ahead and throw out the previous system folder.

Good luck,

Carlos
