Description:
My girlfriend just bought the Imac and she found out that she can't exchange information with her boss via floppy disk. I am wondering if she can go and buy an external floppy to store her documents. She needs to share her work with several other people. I thought that there would be no problem with her just emailing the scripts that they are working on. Several of these other people that she work with don't have access to the internet. I know that there is some kind of external floppy that she could be using. there has to be.
If not....what about readable writer cdROM?
please let me know as soon as possible
Thank you,
Eric Pettersen

Hello Eric and Welcome to No Wonder!
Yes, she can add a floppy drive. But better than a standard drive, I think she should look in getting one of Imation's SuperDrives. Imation’s USB SuperDisk drive will store up to 120 MB of data per disk and can read and write Mac- and PC-formatted 1.4 MB floppy disks. It’s even designed to match iMac’s translucent color scheme, and since it's USB she can plug it right into the iMac, without messing with any adapters.
You can check it out here:
