Description:
The Finder quits whenever I option-open folders 3 times in a row. Even when turning off all extensions, rebuilding desktop, and zaping PRAM, the finder will still quit.

Hey Tyler, welcome to No Wonder.
I think there may be something seriously wrong with your system. It sounds like they finder is not letting go of the ram that it uses. You might want to increase your cache from the memory control panel. If that doesn't work, I'd recommend running Norton utilities or Micromat's Techtool Pro.
