PROBLEM: Hardware

DESCRIPTION:

Everytime i need to load a program,the computer will always
try to access the floppy drive A:. After that it will load the program from C: drive. Why does it need to read the
floppy drive. I have check my BIOS setup nothing irregular
there.Any solutions so that i can load programs faster.

Hi mrahis,

There should be a setting in the BIOS to switch the A-C setting to C-A so that the hard drive is used for booting first. Let me know what type of BIOS you have and the year it was released if you cannot locate the setting and I'll see what I can find out.
