my sister's friend referred me to this site in order to ask about my lost password. I haven't been downloading any applications before. I had an interest of downloading Windows media player for Mac. But its looking for my administrative password sort of like that or any higher access priveleges. Unfortunately, I forgot my password. it has a hint that I know I placed before. I kept on typing the password that I know is closest to the hint that my computer has given me. I can't have a better access on apple because i'm currently in Asia right now and contacting your office might be somehow expensive. So I grabbed the chance to try asking this site. hope you can help me change my password. like resetting my keychain sort of like that. I'm not quite familiar with computers, so I hope you can help me. thank you very much!

Hi Leslie Ann

You can reset your password while booted off the OS X CD. After the Installer Window appears, go up to the Installer Menu to Reset Password.

This is the only way to do this.
