Knowledge Level: Expert but stumped

User Platform: Windows 95/NT
Server Platform: No Problem
HTML Editor: FrontPage 98

Description:

I've got a lot of web pages on my site. In each page, I'd like to display the full URL of that page. Is there a HTML tag that would insert that page's URL? Something like ? If I move a page from one location to another, I'd like the new URL to automatically display on the page.

The reason for this is that the pages are typically displayed in a frame, but can be accessed directly. When displayed in the frame, only the frame's page address is displayed, not the address of the individual page.

Thank you for your time.

Cordially,
Chip Pearson

Chip,

Sorry to say....but the answer to that question is no. When you view a framed page....you are basically looking at one page that loads up other pages (in the frames). So....you are stuck with the original (the page with the html to load the franes) page.

Sincerely,
James
