Hello,

I tried to connect my printer (HP deskjet 970cxi) via USB. This went ok, but I can't access my printer (for printing etc).
What can I do solve this?
I downloaded already the latest driver, reinstalled the printer,....

Please don't expect me to solve the problem without giving me more info or not telling me when I haven't yet fixed the problem.

Have you tried repairing permissions (disk Utility)? (and then ADD the printer again.)

What OS version are you using?

Thanks for your response, I'm very happy that you are willing to help me.

No I didn't use the repairing permissions yet, I'll try it now.

I'm running OS 10.4.2.

I'm very new with apple, always worked with Windows and now made a good decision in my live.....:-)
