Hi there

How can I email a music file from iTunes to a PC using microsoft?

I currently have hotmail and gmail accounts - is it possible to send through one of them or do I have to use Mail (which I have never activated)??

Trish,

You can use any email client to attach a file, but you may have a limit to the size of the file. I am not sure what the limit is for hotmail or gmail.

Just create a new email and click on the attachment icon. You will then be able to select the file from your hard drive. You will find it in Home>Music>iTunes>iTunes Music.

If it is too large of a file for your email accounts, you can use this handy site:
