TICKET ARCHIVE -> Ichat Internal Error

iChat was working fine until I installed Tiger. Installing the most recent update gives me this message:
iChat Internal Error!
NSInvalidArgumentException:
***-[NSObject numberOfRowsInTableView]: selector not recognized [self = 0x560250]

I've tried my usual fixes - repairing permissions, chucking plists etc. but don't know what else to do. Re-install the Tiger software?

Hi Elizabeth

Trash all these plist files;

com.apple.iChat.AIM.plist
com.apple.iChat.Jabber.plist
com.apple.iChat.plist
com.apple.iChat.SubNet.plist
com.apple.iChatAgent.plist

Then trash the iChat application.

Now, boot off the Tiger disk, do a Custom install off the Tiger disks and just reinstall iChat and see if it works.
