I don't know if you can help with this, but my experience here has been so good, I'm going to give it a try.

I am needing to transfer video that I editted in imovie onto a DVD. This is video that I am submitting for professional purposes, so I don't want any "Themes" that iDVD seems to make you use. Basically, I want someone to be able to put the DVD into a player, and it starts playing the video that I am submitting.

Can I do that with iDVD? If you don't know, do you know someone I can ask?

You can make it so that a video plays immediately when you put the DVD in. The bad news is, you get stuck with a menu at the end. You could make it something very bland, like "Play again", or delete everything and just have it be black, but thats still a menu. Just take the movie, and in the map part of iDVD, drag it to the beginning. I'll attach a photo.
