TICKET ARCHIVE -> Iphoto 5 - Can't Set Slideshow to Random

I just installed iLife '05.
iPhoto 5 help claims that there is a "Shuffle slide order" command on the Settings dialog for Slideshow, but I do not see it.

Where is it, or how do I go back to the previous version which does do random slideshows? In general the new version looks better, but lack of "random" in the slideshow is unacceptable.

My name is Cheryl and I will be assisting you.

You are correct... the shuffle slide order is not there. I never realized that.

What I suggest you do is open iPhoto and go to the iPhoto Menu. Select Provide iPhoto Feedback.

A web page will open. Fill in the fields, and tell them that the Shuffle slide order is missing. I just did this.

If you can wait - Apple will release an update to correct this omision. I am not sure how long the wait will be.

If you really need shuffle, and want to uninstall iPhoto 5 - you will first need to back up your photo album, and locate the CD that has iPhoto 4 on it.

Let me know if you still want to get rid of version 5.
