Just bought a ipod touch and have 10.3.9 running on my mac.
ipod plug in brings up an alert telling me that I need 10.4.10.
Is there any workaround for this?

Thank you,

No, not with 10.3.9
If you want to use the iPod Touch, you must upgrade to 10.4.10, or higher. You will also need the most recent update to iTunes. I'm sure this is listed on the box that your iPod shipped in.

If your Mac is a G3, then you will find syncing will also be very slow, although it should work (even though the system requirements also say USB 2.0) even with your USB 1.1 port.

Might be a good time to upgrade to more modern hardware, eh?
