Description:
Kalidoscope all of a sudden has quit working with my system. If I have Kalidoscope running it hides all the menues. When I try and launch a program, the title bar will blink and nothing happens. If I turn odd Kalidoscope every thing run fine. The only new inits that I have installed lately is FAXstf. I can turn that off with no change in the way Kalidoscope acts.
I have Kalidoscope loading ahead of all ints. This worked for a while but that it happened again.
Any suggestion?

Hello Alan,
Well lets see. Do you have the latest version of Kaleidoscope (v2.01)?
What scheme does it do this on or is it any scheme? Have you tried disabling
the extensions for FAXstf and leave Kaleidoscope running to see if it is
FAXstf that is causing the problem? Is Ram Doubler doubling the memory or tripling it? (there seems to be quite a few problems related to tripling one's virtual memory)
Also is the Kaleidoscope registered?
Try some of these things and let me know if they help. Its a little hard to tell from the information you gave but I'm pretty sure its just an extension conflict. You also might want to run a disk utility program like Techtool Pro 2 or the latest Norton Utilities to make sure there arent any damaged files causing your problem.
