Knowledge Level: Beginner

Problem: No Problem
Computer Type: Motorola
Model:
RAM: Not related
RAM Enhancer: None
OS Version: MacOS 8.1

Description:
I recently found a tip (listed as a new tip) to update to the latest version of LibMotoSh. Apparently it is a Math Library type extension that facilitates CPU function (right?). I found the LibMotoSh available for download at Motorola's website. The strange thing is that there wasn't one already in my system running MAC OS 8.1? I couldn't find it anywhere. That is why I'm questioning as to the neccessity of this 'shared library'. Thank you for your help. (hdware: PPC 8600/300)

Hi Simon, welcome to Nowonder, I'm robertw.
Here's a site that will explain LibMotoSh. Much to much to put here. Also a link to Motorola's page for FAQ about it.
