TICKET ARCHIVE -> limewire won't delete from applications

when i follow the steps suggested to delete limewire,(drag to trash and empty trash) everything is still there. when i drag straight from apps. window to trash a pop up says limewire cannot be deleted. need help.

Hi Mike

Open the Activity Monitor in your Utility folder and see if anything related to Limewire is running.
If there is, highlight it and use the Quit button at top of window.

To trash Limewire, do this;

Open the Terminal Application (in Utilities folder) and type:

cd ~/.Trash
hit return

then type;

sudo rm -rf

put a space after the f and drag the item you want deleted to the terminal so that its path is automatically entered, then press return

give it your admin password and hit return
