Description:
I recently got an Apple IIci cache card for my daughter's
Mac IIci. I know this is somewhat subjective, but the thing
didn't seem to improve in performance at all (i.e. Quicktime
movies are just as jerky). Is this card supposed to come
with software (e.g. control panel or something?).

Hi Mick, welcome to Nowonder, I'm robertw.
You can only expect a 10% to 15% increase in performance with a cache upgrade, and it could be lower than that. No, a cache card doesn't come with software
or control panel. It's installed and the board recognizes it.
The IIci is a slow machine, 25MHz, QuickTime might be jerky on this machine.
