TICKET ARCHIVE -> Mac Os Server 10.3.9 - Dns Forwarding

At the elementary school I work at, I have set up a local DNS which is working fine for Managed users within my local intra-net, however, when users try to access the internet, even with correct proxy settings, there is no connection. I have been doing some reading and it seems to me that I need to set up DNS forwarding to the education department's DNS server for authentication outside of my local network. I have the IP address of the department's server, but my problem is, I can't seem to figure out how to do the forwarding. Is there a document that describes how to set up DNS forwarding?

Thanks,
Barry
