I just got this problem...you know the program icons at the bottom of the screen?
Well they aren't flashing or enlarging...there is no interactive movement or anything...their just stiff...but I still can view the programs in their firm manner...can you help me out?

I'm a new mac user and I do not know what to do.

If you want the icons in the Dock to get larger as you move the cursor across them, and also have the other animations in the Dock, open your System Preferences, and click on the Dock icon. Click on Animate Opening Applications so the box is checked. Do the same thing with the Magnification box, and you can adjust the amount of magnification, also.
