Description:
I never seem to have enough memory. After installing 8.1 I havve even less. Should my systems use 15mb when I turn on the computer. I would like to use the new mac world button on my desktp but it say not enough memory and I can't figure out the mail button either. It is always saying close windows or applications but I can't find any that are open. Should I delete something? Do you have any idea what I am talking about or am I a computer illerate? The new systems seem neat but do me no good if I can't use them. Isn't 32mb a lot of memory for a first grade teacher?

Hi Nancy and welcome to No Wonder!

I kind of understand what you mean.

32MB is the bare minimum for running OS8.1, it would be better if you had 64MB.

Open the memory control panel, click on the default button and then restart and see if this makes any difference.
