Knowledge Level: Intermediate

Problem: Combination
Computer Type: Apple
Model: performa 6300 CD
RAM: 16meg
RAM Enhancer: None
OS Version: System 7.5.5

Description:
First problem: when using Adobe Pagemaker I can not access the help file, I get a window which says "not enough memory". How do I assign memory to make some available to the help tutorial?

Second problem: in your October issue you mentioned how to read AVI files using Quicktime. I have quicktime 2.0. How to I use it to read the file? When trying to open the AVI file, I get a window which offers only 4 or 5 translations, none being quicktime. The ones available do not work.

Thank you,

Gary Mehalick

Hi Gary, welcome to Nowonder, I'm robertw.
To give more memory to an application, open the Applications folder, highlight the applications icon, go to FILE, to GET INFO, in that window you increase the memory.
To view AVI files, open QuickTime, then thru File, open the AVI file.
