In Microsoft Excel 97, how do you type 1st, 2nd, etc. and get the st, nd, etc. extensions to raise up in small type (as it does in Microsoft Word 97).

First, Select specific text in a single cell that you want to format. Select Cells in the Format menu. Second, check the Superscript check box. Thats it!

This can't be done automatically, the way I think you would rather want. I tried to do it myself with Autocorrect in the Tools menu, but nothing.
