Just wondering if anyone can help me out. I haven't had bluetooth availabel for a while. It is saying in the system profiler that it isn't present. But I know it is I used it when i furst purchased my laptop. I have reset the PMU reinstalled the os and nothing seems to work. Help would be greatly appreciated. I am running a powerbook 867mhz with 10.2.8 os 12" by the way.

Hi Seth

A couple things you can try.

Shut down and take the battery out for 10 minutes, put it back and restart and see if Bluetooth is available.

Reset the Power Manager, instructions here;

Time to have Apple check the machine to see if the Bluetooth module is bad.
