Knowledge Level: Intermediate

Problem: Hardware
Computer Type: Apple
Model: 9600/233
RAM: Not related
RAM Enhancer: Virtual Memory
OS Version: MacOS 8.1

Description:
A friend of mine asked if I could take a look at his monitor because suddenly one day it had a yellow/green tint to everything onscreen and he thought he had inadvertently changed a setting. It is a Apple monitor which is less than 9 months old. I checked the settings in the monitors and sound control panel and all adjustments on the monitor itself but had no success correcting the problem. Is this a software problem or is the monitor's tube bad or could it be the onboard video of the Mac. We are stumped.

Can you email me with the exact model of monitor you're using.
