OS Version: MacOS 8.1

Description:
After using the Monitors and Sound Control Panel several times, it has stopped working. Now when I open it up I get an error message (error type 3) and everything except my mouse cursor is frozen.

Mac 8500/120 with AppleVision 1710 AV Monitor with AppleVision 1.5 software.

I have thrown out the Monitors and Sound Preferences and restarted with no change.


----I want to replace the Monitors and Sound Control Panel. Do you know where I can find it? I have searched the Apple Update Site with no luck. I have re-installed system 8.1 with no improvement.

The convergence is really off on this monitor and I really need the Monitors and Sound Control Panel to adjust it.

Bruce,

There is a new monitor upgrade from Apple. Apple Displays 1.7.1 this will replace your corrupted Monitors and Sound control panel.

Go to www.versiontracker.com
On the bottom of the web page choose Mac OS 8.5 Updates
Download Apple Displays 1.7.1

This will work with Mac OS 8.1.
