I have a problem with my ibook. My mousepad won't work. I can move the cursor on the screen but I can't click to any icon i chose. I am a pc user and a friend of mine gave me his old ibook. I am new to it and try to solve the problem...by the way, I am using a mac OS 9, the model of the ibook is m2453, it looks like a clump and the collor is orange...he..he..heh...thats the way I describe it. Thanks and more power.

Well, it simply could be the track pad is not working. If memory serves me correctly, there may be a setting for the track pad behavior. Do you have access to an USB mouse? If so try that and see if anything works.

Sure, let me know. Other wise an extension is missing in the system folder. Perhaps a reinstall of the OS may be warranted as well.
