TICKET ARCHIVE -> netscape can't open.

MODEL: m series labtop 100 pentium
RAM: 16meg
OS VERSION: Windows 95

when launching netscape navigator 3.0, i always get a message that states cannot open netscape newsgroup directory followed by the path ... C:banet/netscape/navigator/news...

I have checked to make sure that it was the correct path and have gone as far as reinstalling netscape , changing the path , and going to the news and mail preference menu and changing as well as eraseing the news RC directory.
all to get this message to go away and stop delaying my navigator launch ....

how do i solve this problem ... ???

What directory is netscape in? What directory (in netscape preferences)
is the mail/news directory? Finally, as a last resort, you can delete
netscape.ini and it will regenerate (making you re-enter some settings).
