COMPUTER TYPE: AT&T
MODEL: globalyst 375tpc
RAM: 48meg
OS VERSION: Windows 95
SERVICE PACK: 4.00 950a
DESCRIPTION:
netscape does not recognise url(no mane.com)does not have DNS enty)
when i click ok it continues to load .but shortly afterwards i get an illegal operation and must shut down my netscape

Hello Reb, and welcome to NoWonder!!
To stop this problem, I would first try rebooting the system. Just shut it down, and restart it. If this was no help, then Id do a complete uninstall of Netscape, and then reinstall it. Sometimes, file will go bad in a program, and the only thing to do is reinstall.
