For years I have tried to talk my husband into trying the MAC. Finally we got the new mini. (He's so cute!) We have some old kid's games which run on OS 9. Little mini keeps telling me that he doesn't have a classic folder. (Now, wouldn't it be cool if it was built in?)
So....I went to the Apple web site to see if it is something I could get. Well... there is an "upgrade" form that says I can get it free..(with $19.95 s/h, of course.) Only problem....the form says that it has to be submitted by March 1, 2004.
so... here is the question: Can I get OS9, and how? I have searched the apple website and can't figure it out.
And...will it work once I have it installed?
Thanks in advance!!!
Hi Colleen
You already have Classic (OS 9) on the DVD/CD that came with your machine.
This Apple page will show you how to install it;

Thanks...the disk was hiding. I didn't realize that there were 2 discs in the envelope. My kid says thanks.
