Hi Lynn, and welcome to NoWonder!!

When my company upgraded, and bought ten new computers from Compaq, we had one that is doing the same thing. Try it on a different system, to see if it will work on the other system. DO NOT UNHOOK THE KEYBOARD FROM A MAHINE THATS ON>>>>AND NEVER PLUG A NEW KEYBOARD INTO A COMPUTER TAHTS ALREADY RUNNING!!!!
This will ruin the mother board. Our problem was a defective keyboard. IF this keyboard woks on another machine, then, there is a setting off, or maybe the wrong driver installed.

Thank you for using NoWonder!!

If you have any further questions, feel free to e-mail me.
