TICKET ARCHIVE -> NowSave Alternative?

Computer Type: NowUtilities
Model: G3 running 8.1
RAM: Not related
RAM Enhancer: Virtual Memory
OS Version: MacOS 8.1

Description:
I recently upgraded to a G3 with System 8.1 and HFS+. I am told my Now Utilities will not work with 8.1. I am wondering if that is true for all of them or only some. I particularly would like to continue using NowSave.

If NowSave is also not functional under 8.1 do you know of any other similar utilities?

Hi Dan, Welcome to No Wonder!

Officially, Now Utilities is not compatible with MacOS 8.1. I have heard reports that some of the Now Utilities modules do work but I am not sure if Now Save is one of them. If I remember correctly, Now Save will save keystrokes to a separate text file. A good alternative to this is a shareware program called Super Save.
