OS Version: MacOS 8.1

Description:
You people have been so great in the past, I have little reason to believe that you could not help me here...
I am connected to an ethernet network at my place of work/home AND I have an account with a seperate ISP that I use for modem connections. I currently use IMN 3.0 (and have tried Outlook Exp.) as my email client. Here's the problem: I can RECEIVE mail from both network and ISP servers, but with IMN I cannot SEND mail on the ISP settings while connected to the network (unknown user error). With Outlook Express, I cannot send mail on the network account settings. OE tells me that there is either an invalid password or the recipient is unknown.
Is this an application problem, a quirk with the servers or- god forbid, however most likely- a moronic user problem? I find symptoms of all three and solutions from none! Can I fix or must I live with it?
Thanks
Mark

Hi Alvaro, and welcome to NoWonder Mac support!

I am sorry to say that no one of the NoWonder active staff knew the answer to your question within the promised time.

I see no reason why this shouldnt work. How do you change between the TCP/IP settings when changing network? The best email client for the Mac is Eudora, you could perhaps try out a demo version of their software too?

Once again; sorry!
