DESCRIPTION:

On my school I've got my own folder on the server where I can save my personal work. The problem is that some pople on my school enjoy deleting the files that I put in my folder.
The question is:
Is there an easy way to make people that want to acess my folder write a password before they acess my folder.
I have no acess to the servers setup files.
On the school we use win95 and the servers are NT4.
Perhaps a script or a bat file can do it?
Thanx

Thomas,

Contact your school's System Administrator. Usually, each user (person) is given a drive letter, "P" lets say and every one has their own "P" drive, usually hidden from others for personal use and not a publically accessible file folder on the server. Talk to your System Administrator, they will know what I'm talking about. If they'll do it, that's another story, they may have a few suggestions concerning your problem. They will give you the information you need and help you. Just let them know what you want.
