Hi,

When I boot my Dual 1.8 GHz G5 the CD drive opens by itself despite there being no CD in it.

Any ideas why this is the case?

Well it seems to have stopped as unexplainedly as it started. Must be ghosts or something!

Hugh,

Sounds like you might have accidentally been holding down your mouse while you were booting up. I believe that will eject your CD tray. Glad to know it isn't a problem though!
