TICKET ARCHIVE -> Powerbook Sound Problems Internal Speakers

Hello. Seems the search isn't functioning on the forum as I've tried it and just get a blank screen.
Anyway, I just did a hard drive replacement and restored a backed up ASR disk image (consisting of basically a clean and updated version of 10.3.9 and no applications) via Disk Utility. I have no sound from the internal speakers, only "headphones - built-in" is listed under sound prefs: output. The headphonse/lineout jack does work and produce sound when connected to external speakers. The sound was working after I put the PB back together following the harddrive replacement, but just stopped working after I did the system restore. I'm wondering if this could have anything to do with renaming user account folders, don't see how...but ya never know. I did this inadvertenly, but reversed the and all else seems to be functioning normally.

Any help/suggestions appreciated.
Thanks,
The Bat.

Please disregard this question. A more forceful jiggling of a headphone plug in the jack has done the trick. Jiggling being a technical term of course. Thanks anyway.
