Description:
After throwing away the finder perferences file from the system folder, changing the font selection under the edit menu, and restarting, I still get the geneva font back.
help me rid myself from the evil geneva font once and for all.

Welcome to No Wonder. I'm Myra. I'll be helping you.

You can rid yourself of the Geneva font by moving the font folder to your desktop. Manually drag Geneva out of the font folder. Place the font folder back in your systems folder. Restart your computer. It should tell you that the font Genenva that you were using is not avalible and that it has chosen a substitute. Go in and choose the font you would like to use.

Put Geneva on a floppy and save it. You may find an use for it later.
