TICKET ARCHIVE -> Quicktime 7 Y Itunes 4.8

i uninstalled qt 7 with the donelaod from apple that reinstalls qt 6. qt opens manually but will not open if a clic on a movie , mpeg or mov 4 example. itunes 4.8 does not lauch at all. os is panther, 10.3.9 , i cant find info on solving this problem,

You are not making very much sence, but iTunes does not play movie files at all. Only .mp3 maybe .wav and the iTunes audio format. Thats all, no movies on iTunes, you need quicktime for movies.

Oh i see, sorry about that! Well, here's the thing, in quicktime if your movies wont open in quicktime then what do they open in? Try reinstalling quicktime, that might reset the extensions but maybe not.

the solution is to remove itunes and quicktime from the digidesign adio setup program , then after that everything works fine.
