TICKET ARCHIVE -> rebuilding desktop

OS Version: System 7.5.5

Description:
My MAC will not completely rebuild the desktop. It stops when almost loaded. I also was unable to download a complete version of AOL version 3.0. MAC froze and would not finish download. I recently installed 2 - 32 mgs. of RAM. Total RAM is 72 mgs.

Hi Johanna and welcome to No Wonder!

Try using the utility called TechTool to *delete* the desktop files before rebuilding them.
