Hi Gary,
Thanks for using No Wonder! I can't answer your question about the effectiveness of those programs, but I use a program called WinProbe. It is a diagnostic program to check all of your components and also makes a back up of system files, registry, ini files etc. It also has a restore button to put them back to where they were before any changes. If you just want to copy the registry, you can go to the "Run" on the start menu and type in "regedit" and a box will open up with access to the registry. At the top click on "registry" and there is a selection for "Export". When you click on that, a box will open up and ask where you want to put it. You can put a copy anywhere on your hard drive or if it will fit on a floppy you can put it there. If it is too big for a floppy, you can copy it somewhere on your hard drive, then use a program such as WinZip to span it across more than one floppy. Hope this helps. If you have anymore questions, you can contact me directly.
