How do I get the W97M_Shankar virus removed from a Mac OSX? I've tried various virus removal tools.

Hi Chris,
Welcome on macosx.com

This a Word macro virus which has no payload at all and cannot damage your Mac.

In Word for Mac, you can set the Macro Virus Protection option (on the Edit menu, click Preferences and then click the General tab)
