Description:
I want to upgrade the modem on my Performa, which currently has an internal Global Village Gold IIv modem card. I know I have to remove the modem card to install the external modem I bought, but I don't know how. Thanks!

Hi Alaine, welcome to Nowonder, I'm robertw.
Open the case, your user manual should show you how to do this. The modem (communication card) will be the card that your phone line plugs into. Just pull it up and out.
