I did a hard reset on my Airport Extreme. It used to work. It is connected directly to my DSL modem. The modem works. The Airport Extreme works. But, I can't get my MacBook (OS 10.5.4) to work using Airport.
If anyone knows about this, please help.
I live in Israel. They do not support Airport Extreme, because Mac here does not presently sell them.
Thank You.

When you say you cannot get your computer to work on airport, can you be more specific? Do you get a wireless signal but no internet? Do you not get a wireless signal? OR does the base station fail to configure??

My DSL modem works. I am presently using my MacBook 10.5.4 connected through an ethernet cable to the modem.
My Airport Extreme (square one, latest software version) works. My printer is connected to it, through an ethernet cable and I send printing from my computer through the Airport software, through the Airport Extreme to the printer.
When I connnect my DSL modem directly to the Airport Extreme, the amber light continues to blink. Not the fast blink, rather the simple slow blink.
Apparently, the Airport Extreme is connected to the Internet because when I open Airport Utility on my MacBook, I see the fact that my Airport Extreme has an ISP address attached to it.
My MacBook connects, at that point, to my Airport Extreme, I see the signal on my MacBook. However, for some reason, and this is the problem, I can't get my MacBook to receive and send through the Airport Extreme.
So, to answer your question: I believe I am clearly getting a wireless signal. But, I am unable to connect to the internet.
Please, please, help. My work has almost stopped because of all this.
Thanks in advance.

The amber light means that it is not connecting to the internet. You can confirm this in the airport admin utility, you likely are getting a 169.xxx.xxx.xxx IP address. If this is the case then the DSL modem is not handing off an IP to the airport.
Power off your DSL modem for 5 minutes or more, connect your airport and double check that you have the proper settings in the airport.
Power on the DSL (while connected to the airport) let it power on, then briefly power off and back on the airport. See if the light turns green,

Didn't work. If I connect my MacBook directly to the DSL modem through ethernet, I get an IP Address: 79.177.124.253. When I connect the Airport Extreme directly to DSL modem wth ethernet I see in Airport Utility: Airport ID: 00:1C:B3:AC:E:9A.
I believe yesterday I was able to see that my Airport Extreme was getting and actual IP Address. But, I was not able to connect to it through my MacBook.
But, no. Your advice has still not solved it. I hope this info adds something to the picture. I'm in a country which does not import, yet, nor support Airport Extreme.
Please find a solution.

The number you gave me is the Airport ID or the Ethernet ID, check for the IP address in the network and internet tabs
