How do I set Safari to print the address of the web site I am viewing and printing out? In other browsers I set this feature in preferences and can print out the URL on the bottom of the page for future reference. I do not see a setting for this necessity of a researcher.

Select Print from the Safari File menu. In the Print dialog select Safari from the third drop down menu. In the Safari dialog check the box to print headers and footers.

I have followed your instructions. The Safari dialog check box does not have a headers and footers check box. It only has a "Print backgrounds."
I do not want colored backgrounds printed, but I do want the Web site address printed.
Please advise.
Thank you

What version of OS X are you running?

10.3.9.
I have just purchasd Tiger, but have not installed it, if that is a help. I would rather not install it right now as I am in the middle of a huge project.
Thanks, Steve

I apologize, but that appears to be new to the Tiger version of Safari.

No, as I said previously, I have NOT installed Tiger. The Truth is, I have never seen anything but background printing in preferences in all the OS X .
