Description:
Just bought a LaserWriter II NTX to connect to my Mac at home and am baffled by what driver to use. The standard LaserWriter driver doesn't give the option to choose a port -- it just assumes ethernet. So there must be some sort of 'serial' laserwriter driver out there. I tried using a LaserWriter 300 driver, but it won't print. I've scoured Apple's tech info site, but there's no mention of what driver to use.

I have tried the LocalTalk - LaserWriter bridge, but again, it doesn't give me anywhere to define a port.

Any suggestions?

John,

The NTX is a LocalTalk LaserWriter only. No serial interface.
