If the LinkSys router is wireless, then all you should need to do is configure Airport in your Network preference pane. Open Network and select Airport from the list, then click on the Configure button. Click on the Airport tab and check the box "Show airport status in menubar" ON. Select Automatic from the "By default, join" drop down menu. Click on the TCP/IP tab and set "Configure IPv4" to DHCP from the drop down menu. Click on the Apply button.

If Airport is not active, then select Turn Airport On from the menubar item. Airport should now connect to your router. You can verify by returning to the TCP/IP tab to see that you have a valid IP address from the router.
