My iBook won't boot up and gives sh-2.05a#. I'm not sure what to do. I heard i could do a systems restore, but not sure how to do that.
Appreciate your help.

Not sure what that is, but a system reinstall you do from your install cd/dvd or if you have a version of Tiger, or the latest OS you are using. You place the disk in the drive, and reboot, holding down the C key. Then just follow the instructions.

I don't have my mac stuff with me. But I believe there are 3 cd's of my OSX. I tried booting up with the cd but all I got was a blank screen.
Any suggestions?

Well you could try to use the utility in the Disk Utility (DU) app. You put the disk in drive, and it will mount on the desktop. In the DU app you can restore from the disk image.
Another way is to select the restore CD from the disk start-up choice in System Preference.
Let me know how you make out.
