Description:
Hi,

I'm running 8.5.1 on a new iMac and my sound preferences go bad about once a day... I run NDD and it says it can't fix them. So, I trash the sound preference and that seems to fix things for awhile. Any suggestions? Is this a problem with iMacs?

Thanks very much,

Sandra

Hi Sanddra,
I have found the sounds is some eat up too much memory you can actually view what sounds you have loaded by opening your system folder located inside your hard drive double click on the file named system. It maybe a good idea to take some of these out if your contiually having a problem with the sound preferences. Now when if you decide to take these out of your system file it will show as if it's coping them to the trash but actually it's moving them into the trash. If you need any more help with this or future problems feel free to e-mail me at
